On March 30th we had a fun filled evening sewing re-usable menstrual pads for the teenage girls in the Dominican Republic.
Without the ability to care for themselves during their periods, they miss 4 to 6 days of school a month, every month. Sewing these reusable pads will allow them to attend, thereby allowing better grades, and a better future.
