Last winter our club had a request from the Community Health Centres of Northumberland on Toronto Road to build a little library to install at the centre.  They will stock the library with books.

Former Rotarian Bill Lang built the little library for them.  A volunteer at the centre painted the little library, and a staff member’s husband welded the steel pole to hold the library.

On September 25 Director of Service Projects Paul Tait along with Co-Presidents Ken O’Neill and Ron Tuttle went to the Community Health Centres of Northumberland on Toronto Road for a dedication ceremony.  We attached a plaque recognizing the Rotary Club of Port Hope to the little library.

The staff and volunteers at the Health Centre thanked our club for providing the little library which is installed under the overhang near the south entrance door.
