We are pleased to report that the Rotary Club of Port Hope has completed our committed $50,000 donation to Ed's House Hospice, with our final installment made at a presentation on Wednesday October 28th.
The hospice is now open and at the time of our visit, was at capacity with 6 residents...it is a wonderful facility and fulfills an important need in our community. Ed's House has 4 additional suites that are semi-completed, awaiting operational funding from the Ministry of Health.
I am proud of our club's commitment to Ed's House - thank you to all members who supported this decision in 2018.
