On Saturday evening the Port Hope and Northumberland Sunrise clubs gather to celebrate Our Rotary Foundation. Our guest Speaker for the evening Was Sam Brophy Williams, a doctor from Australia who is studying in Toronto at Sick Childrens Hospital. He was the receipient of a Rotary Foundation Global Grant.
The members of the Port Hope Club recognized two very deserving members of the Port Hope Community.
First Julie Stewart for her incredible long time commitment to the youth and members of the community.
Heather McKeown was the second honouary for her outstanding work with fostering puppies, volunteering at the Community Health Center, the Mission Thrift Store among many other things.
In addition Rotarian Paul Tait was recognized with his Paul Harris Fellow +2 pin. This recognizes Paul and Marg's ongoing support for the Rotary Foundation.
